BetterPower participate “Charity for Bright”actively

On Aug. 1, Shenzhen Glorious Association and Shenzhen Charity Xiaoming Eye Fund Organization organized “Charity for Bright” activity and glory bus endowment ceremony, which formally started in Hami, Xinjiang province.


Four main delegates participate the endowment ceremony: Mr. Yin Xiaoman, working as Deputy Inspector in United Front Dep. of Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Mr. Long Xiang, vice president of Shenzhen Glorious Association---Board of BetterPower Battery Co., Ltd, Mr. Gao Fashui, Deputy Commissioner and Mr. Deng Liangbo, Prefectural Committee of Xinjiang Autonomous Region and Secretary of Municipal Committee of Hami.


Hami lies in east of Xinjiang. Because of the nature and geographical environment, middle aged people over 40 there are susceptible to cataracts, and the majority of them aged over 60. Most of the cataract patients are mountain farmers and urban low-coming citizens. They cannot afford to the operation costs, which dues to their blindness and loss of labor ability. Informed of the situation, Shenzhen Glorious Association, entrepreneurs and specialized doctors from Shenzhen Charity Xiaoming Eye Fund organized this “Charity for Bright” activity.


This “Charity for Bright” activity was prepared a month ago. Mid-June, concerned staff from Hami began to do comprehensive preoperative examination for poor cataract patients, and finally selected 100 patients meeting surgical conditions. After surgery, many patients held Shenzhen doctors’hands and said excitedly: “Thanks to you for bringing hope to our lives!”


Shenzhen Glorious Association is mainly formed by non-public economy owners and private entrepreneurs, including HK and Macao business people. In recent years, Shenzhen Glorious Association and warm-hearted entrepreneurs carry forward Chinese traditional virtues to help poor people, consciously and generously returning to the community. Especially, they carry out a series of charitable activities to help Western region people, which is welcome and highly praised by local people.


At the start ceremony of “Charity for Bright"  on Aug. 1, Shenzhen Glorious Association donated 356,000 yuan to Hami People’s Hospital as cataracts surgery fund and some medical equipment value of more than 20,000 yuan. Also, they donated 3 school-buses, value of 300,000 yuan for Hami Wubao Primary school, Special Educational School and Wu Latai School, used to solve problems for minority children to school.
